The Vashaan Music Society presents the Honari Family’s homage to the music of the Iranian province of Sistan & Baluchistan. This concert is inspired by the travels of filmmaker and musician, Reza Honari, into the heart of this region where he discovered and documented many unheard masterpieces of this genre. Sistani & Baluchi music can be described as hauntingly beautiful and joyful. Fathieh and Reza Honari grew up in Baluchistan and shared many collaborations with great masters of this music throughout their lives and devout much of their time to preserving this rare and beautiful art form.

Adjacent to the Orpheum, the appropriately named Annex is a spunky, cabaret-style venue equally suited for dance and musical performances as receptions and rehearsals. The space is easily converted from flat-floor to a tiered theatre space with 193 seats and is expertly equipped to accommodate a range of sound and light options.
