Hosted by Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) in partnership with Arts Umbrella, Ballet BC, and the Vancouver International Children's Festival, Sharing Dance Day aims to get all Canadians active and engaged in dance. It’s a nationwide, family-friendly dance engagement activity culminating in community performances on Sharing Dance Day events across the country. Each year, thousands of Canadians learn the easy-to-learn choreography: this year’s focuses on the theme of environmental stewardship. You can join in by attending free community rehearsals, and by accessing online rehearsal videos and informational toolkits.
No experience required! These rehearsals will prepare you to shine in community dance performances on June 1st at NBS Sharing Dance Day 2018 Vancouver and other NBS Sharing Dance Day events across the country! This year’s theme is environmental stewardship!
There will be free workshops hosted by Arts Umbrella and Ballet BC at the Annex, 5:30pm - 7:00pm, May 28, 30 and 31. For more information, visit www.sharingdance.ca.
