VSO Symphony at the Annex presents A Short, Slow Life
A Short, Slow Life is a meditation on love, devotion, and the fragility of time, featuring scenes from Bramwell Tovey’s latest opera. Written with Joel Ivany, it explores life in the slums of the London's East End, where The Salvation Army, led equally by men and women, struggles to make a positive impact on the lives of London's most disadvantaged. With new works by Emily Doolittle, Kati Agócs and Jocelyn Morlock.
Adjacent to the Orpheum, the appropriately named Annex is a spunky, cabaret-style venue equally suited for dance and musical performances as receptions and rehearsals. The space is easily converted from flat-floor to a tiered theatre space with 193 seats and is expertly equipped to accommodate a range of sound and light options.Explore This Venue
