Join the VSO, Maestro Bramwell Tovey, and an all-star roster of guests for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of Maestro Tovey’s unprecedented 18-year tenure as VSO Music Director. Joined by three former Assistant Conductors and the VSO’s current Assistant Conductor, as well as numerous Canadian artists with whom Maestro Tovey has worked extensively over the years, the orchestra performs many popular works from throughout his time as Music Director. Maestro Tovey takes the podium in the second half of this grand celebration of the extraordinary music-making partnership with the orchestra that has marked his time as Music Director.
