Vancouver Opera present Another Brick in the Wall: The Opera - music by Roger Waters and Julien Bilodeau
At this time Vancouver Opera performances and programming will be cancelled for the remainder of the 2019/2020 season. On March 12, B.C. Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry gave a directive to Canadians to not gather in groups of more than 250 persons due to COVID-19.
Vancouver Opera works in conjunction with Vancouver Civic Theatres (VCT) and has been reviewing their related messaging which includes the cancellation of events taking place over the next few weeks.
Based on the current recommendations, we have made the responsible decision to cancel the remaining performances of our season including the upcoming production Another Brick in the Wall: The Opera, and the Vancouver Opera Festival. The Flight of the Hummingbird and VOX will be postponed to the future.
