Blueridge Chamber Music Festival presents Life Cycles
Join us on this extraordinary sonic exploration of liminal spaces, where the realms of the living and the departed intertwine and the fabric of the universe becomes permeable. Otherworldly music by Jocelyn Morlock and Liza Lim set the stage for George Crumb’s mystical masterpiece, Music for a Summer Evening. The program includes a participatory new work in honour of Morlock by her close friend, Juno-winning composer Jordan Nobles, that invites listeners to unite in a communal ritual of remembrance.
