Turning Point Ensemble presents Cantus Ensemble Double Bill
Turning Point Ensemble culminates their multi-year Canada/Croatia collaboration by presenting Zagreb’s Cantus Ensemble in Vancouver in a dynamic double bill. One of Europe’s leading new music ensembles, Cantus is akin to Turning Point Ensemble with a specialty in contemporary classical music. They will be led by conductor/composer Berislav Šipuš who conducted TPE in Vancouver in an extraordinary concert of Croatian music in 2022, and conductor Ivan Josip Skender.
The two concerts will feature different repertoire including a newly commissioned premiere by Vancouver composer Ramsey Sadaka
