Dance/Novella presents STANCE
Dance//Novella is excited to share our newest work built in collaboration with nine professional dance artists: Mia Pelayo, Yuha Tomita, Daria Mkhaylyuk, Kiera Hill, Alexis Fletcher, Bryn Bridgen, Nasiv Sall, Nancy Li and Oksana Maslechko.
This work fosters a dynamic interaction between the artists and the viewer, creating an exchange that goes beyond mere observation. While "STANCE" tackles serious subject matter, it exudes a profound sense of strength, empowerment, encouragement, and growth, which ultimately emerges as the overarching theme. An exciting aspect of this performance is the post-show open discussion, which provides a unique opportunity for a dialogue between the viewer and the artists. Guided by an EDI leader, the talk back will commence by unveiling the inspiration behind the work, initiating a stimulating exchange.
