The Takács Quartet is a perennial favourite, offering a window into the Hungarian quartet tradition through its irresistible blend of virtuosic technique and engaging personality. For the season finale – their 23rd and 24th concerts for us – we will be treated in two successive concerts to the full genius of Hungarian master composer Béla Bartók with his complete string quartet cycle.
