Granville Block Party: Orpheum Tours
Vancouver Civic Theatres is hosting FREE guided 30-minute tours of the Orpheum theatre as part of the Granville Block Party celebrations. Tours will begin approximately every 10 minutes throughout the afternoon. No reservations available, all tours are walk-up only. 1:00pm to 5:00pm, last tour leaves at 4:30pm.
The Orpheum, a designated National Heritage Site, was built in 1927. Each year the theatre hosts international musicians, popular concerts and unique events; it is also home to the beloved Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
The free walking tours are led by the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame and reveal some secrets of the theatre's history.
