LunarFest presents Together, Forte!
What is a celebration without music? Harmonia String Ensemble is joined by the Vancouver Zion Mission Choir for a live performance at Orpheum. Join LunarFest as we ring in the Lunar New Year and welcome the Year of the Tiger “Together, Stronger” through invigorating songs performed by our local musicians.
Harmonia String Ensemble
The objective of the group is to play chamber works that are rarely performed by large symphonic orchestras. The music they play is usually composed for strings only, or for a classical orchestra which may include a limited number of wind instruments. Harmonia is composed of enthusiastic string players who wish to share music with the community.
Vancouver Zion Mission Choir
The Vancouver Zion Mission Choir originated from within the Korean community in 1982 and has been an active ministry for over 40 years. Through their performances in Canada, Korea, and even New York, they have fundraised for a variety of charitable causes. Dr. Stephanie Chung is currently the Director and Conductor of the VZMC.
