For the 45th year, the VMC kicks off Vancouver’s winter celebration with a concert that embraces the warmth, resilience, and togetherness that define the Canadian spirit. This season’s program features beloved holiday classics like Jingle Bells and O Tannenbaum, alongside iconic Canadian favourites such as Joni Mitchell’s River. VMC are also thrilled to present the Vancouver premiere of our newest commission, Be The Song, with music by Nicholas Ryan Kelly and lyrics by Wendy Jean MacLean.
