Sam Barber is a singer and songwriter who has made waves in country and rock music with spare, deeply emotional performances that harken back to atmospheric sounds of the past. His voice recalls the doleful sound of Hank Williams in a style that's at once plainspoken and expressive.

He has released one album, two EPs, and several singles. Both of Barber's EP's and most of his singles were released through Lockeland Springs under Atlantic Records. His single "Straight and Narrow" was his first to chart in the U.S. and is certified platinum by the RIAA.
