SHIFT Festival Reading: Evolutionary Tango by Beth Coleman
SHIFT presents a special Staged Reading of Beth Coleman’s Evolutionary Tango directed by Kathryn Shaw featuring veteran Vancouver actors Donna Carroll White, Allan Morgan, Kim Seary and featuring Jessie Liang, last seen in Kim’s Convenience. In this innovative, intergenerational, futuristic script, a 108-year-old woman develops a special relationship with her android caregiver; this play tackles mortality and sexuality while challenging the way we care for our elders. Award-winning playwright Lucia Frangione collaborates as dramaturge.
