For the final event of our 2024 Summer Sounds series, DJ Nea Stonefox and DJ Paisley Eva bring a party to the plaza! Specializing in Soca, Dancehall, Afrobeat and Hip-hop, DJ Nea Stonefox is Resident DJ of AfroQueer YVR and Host of GUSH Radio. Hailing from the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation village of Eslha7an, Ta7talíya Paisley Eva has been filling local club, party, and festival dance floors with a high energy mix of obscure underground tracks and beloved classics for over ten years. Her choice, chance-taking selections are plucked from house, disco, new wave, pop, and whatever keeps people moving.

DJ Paisley Eva
Hailing from the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation village of Eslha7an, Ta7talíya Paisley Eva has been filling local club, party, and festival dance floors with a high energy mix of obscure underground tracks and beloved classics for over ten years. Her choice, chance-taking selections are plucked from house, disco, new wave, pop, and whatever keeps people moving. Paisley Eva founded non-profit Dame Music Society, which trained 40+ self identifying women, non-binary and trans folks to DJ vinyl until its close in 2020. Her work is based on Sḵwx̱wú7mesh teachings and is all about sharing equity within the music and event industry with marginalized bodies.
