TaiwanFest presents: May Sea Turtles be with you… Always

From a reporter to a nature photographer to a documentary director, the last thirty years of Ke Chin-Yuan’s life has led him to choose this one thing: to document the environment. In the heart of the mountains of Taiwan, he explains the philosophy of nature as he explores the vibrant world that exists deep in the woods, lifting us up to great heights in Sacred Forest. Within the vast ocean, he slips between sea turtles and humpback whales, capturing the colourful coexistence between humans and creatures of the sea. Ke Chin-Yuan uses stationary filming techniques and long, static shots to create lasting ripples in our hearts.

Through stunning cinematography, Ke Chin-Yuan hopes that one day in the near future, the sea turtles and the whales, along with the people, can safely return to this island.
