Universal Gospel Choir presents Broadway Goes Gospel
Universal Gospel Choir (UGC) is thrilled to present Broadway Goes Gospel. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Lonnie Delisle, the powerful 70-voice choir will bring their Gospel stylings to some of Broadway’s most loved tunes. Expect to tap your toes to Raise You Up, be inspired by This is Me and be heard in You Will Be Found.
Universal Gospel Choir will be joined by the Showstoppers, Vancouver’s favourite teenage “Glee” choir for select numbers choreographed by Ovation Award recipient, Jason Franco. The Showstoppers have brought their high energy and excellent voices to performances with Barry Manilow and Foreigner and are sure to bring smiles to all faces.
Rounding out the Broadway sound is the dynamic UGC band led by Grammy-award nominee Jonny Tobin (piano) with Vancouver favorites Brett Ziegler (organ), Jason Nickel (bass), Jon Holisko (drums) and Jay Leonard Juatco (guitar).

the support of the City of Vancouver.
