The Vancouver Cantata Singers present Songbird
Continuing the theme of song, its power of expression and window to the soul, Songbird is an evening of music inspired by the imagery of birds and their song: Love, loss, singing and subsequent silence as night falls over the passing of time. Featuring Brahms' Fünf Gesänge Op. 104 and a new commissioned arrangement of Fleetwood Mac's Songbird by Sam Dabrusin, the Vancouver Cantata Singers invite you to join them for an enchanting evening at the ANNEX celebrating songbirds and other animals amidst the forest trees and dreams of Spring.
