Vancouver Opera and the Vancouver Civic Theatres present a free Opera Pop-Up event in the lobbies the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.
Enjoy the crisp and gorgeous sounds of some of opera’s great hits as singers from Vancouver Opera enchant and delight you with their stunning voices.
Stick around after the performance for a Q&A to find out what it takes to be an opera singer. Did you know opera singers are expected to fill a 3,000 seat theatre with no microphones?
All ages welcome. Doors open at 12:30pm for the 1:00pm performance. Please note that there is limited seating available but there is plenty of standing room.
