Vancouver Recital Society presents Chloe Chua, violin and Julien Quentin, piano
Daring virtuosity and a gloriously free spirit are among the attributes with which 19-year-old Chloe Chua has won critical plaudits and audience ovations. The Singaporean violinist began playing at just 4 years of age, and captured international attention when she became joint winner of the 2018 Yehudi Menuhin International Competition for Young Violinists. Her stunning musicality despite her young age has captured the hearts of audiences around the world. For her Canadian debut, Chloe joins forces with French pianist Julien Quentin, whose remarkable musical depth, clear and distinct sound, combined with flawless technique, make him highly sought after worldwide as both a soloist and a chamber musician.
