Vancouver Recital Society presents Paul Lewis
"Our relationship with Paul Lewis is quite special. He has performed on the VRS stage more frequently than any other performer, going back to the early days of the Vancouver Chamber Music Festival. Paul has given memorable performances of the complete cycles of Beethoven and Schubert Piano Sonatas and he returns with his latest project, a multi-season series titled Mozart+, which he’ll be playing in venues around the world over the next couple of years. In this series, Paul juxtaposes Mozart’s lesser-known piano repertoire with works by composers such as Mendelssohn, Poulenc, Chopin, Weber, Copland and more, illuminating Mozart’s enduring influence throughout the generations. This season, he’ll perform two concerts from the series." VRS
