Exuberant, humorous, and bursting with energy, Beethoven’s Second Symphony highlights the composer’s zeal for life. After the break, his Symphony No. 7 was described by Wagner as “the Apotheosis of the Dance itself.” Together, these works embody vitality and rhythmic drive.
