VSO Musically Speaking and Symphony Sundays presents Scheherazade
One of the classical repertoire’s most popular works, inspired by the beloved tale of 1,001 Nights, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade will take you on a sensual journey of love and adventure. Paired with an upbeat “ride” from American minimalist master John Adams and the “spectacularly virtuosic” (LA Times) Leila Josefowicz, this will be a delightful evening of music.
With Maestro Otto Tausk VSO Music Director conducting.
One of the great pianists of our time, Sergei Babayan, makes his long-awaited debut with the VSO playing Mozart.DEC 2
