The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra Masterworks Gold presents Saint-Saëns' The Egyptian
Set sail on the Nile with Saint-Saëns’ fifth and final piano concerto. Described as “an exquisite musician” by The Times, Spanish soloist Javier Perianes makes “the piano glitter with alert polished brilliance” (Sydney Morning Herald). Parisian conductor Chloé van Soeterstède makes her VSO debut with Franck’s Symphony and Camille Pepin’s powerful Laniakea, brimming with celestial colours.
