The VSO School of Music Sinfonietta presents Classics & Classic Jazz
Get ready for a unique musical experience, as Bach meets the Big Band in Vancouver Playhouse! Featuring the VSOSoM’s advanced string orchestra Sinfonietta performing with a trio of great Canadian jazz artists Miles Black; Jodi Proznick and Jesse Cahill, as well as guest vocalists, this concert pays homage to classical giant Bach in its first half, before celebrating standard and modern classics of the jazz genre in the second half.
