The Friends of Chamber Music present Takács Quartet
Just past its 50th anniversary season, and with a new cellist, the Takács Quartet, our perennial favourites in concert, returns to Vancouver. Tagged as one of the greatest string quartets of the past 100 years by BBC Music Magazine, this astounding group still brings to life the classic Hungarian tradition of string playing, rhythmically dynamic and full toned. Many of their recordings have reached legendary status.
