The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra presents Augustin Hadelich Plays Brahms
Augustin Hadelich is one of the great violinists of our time, celebrated for his phenomenal technique, persuasive interpretations, and ravishing tone. Returning to the VSO, he performs Brahms’ Violin Concerto, a work of grandeur and intimacy that moves from turbulent intensity to deep tenderness and joy. The evening opens with Canadian composer John Estacio’s Frenergy and closes with Dvořák’s lyrical Sixth Symphony, led by conductor Clemens Schuldt.
